The Glorious Unseen Quotables
This past week was street week for the awesome worship band The Glorious Unseen and their release The Hope That Lies In You on BEC Recordings. I was really excited about this project for one reason because of the band’s heart and motives behind worship. RelevantMag.com featured an interview with leader Ben Crist this week that talked about his viewpoints on modern worship that really hits the target. In case you missed it, check it out here. In addition, the music is just really great! It is not your typical modern worship band, but more mellow and reflective. If you don’t take my word for it, take the below review quotes. Please check out this band and their sophomore release if you get a chance.

“Back with their second full-length album, The Glorious Unseen are revealing one of the most personal, intimate, and authentic albums in the Christian music world that we’ve seen this year. The Glorious Unseen is a worship group that I’m hoping will usher in a new breed of worship groups. The Hope That Lies In You continues toward that growth that is badly longed for and needed in modern worship. Highly recommended for some time of authentic worship with well-written music as its backing.” — 4 Star Review JesusFreakHideout.com
“This is one of the most worshipful and introspective albums I’ve heard this year.” –NewReleaseTuesday.com
“The Glorious Unseen is one of the Christian music market’s crown jewels, or definitely should be. Do not miss out on this album.” –SailtheGhostShip.com
“All in all a great addition to anybody’s worship collection. If you aren’t really into the whole worship category of music, I highly suggest that you check out The Glorious Unseen. This isn’t your typical worship.”

“When listening to The Glorious Unseen’s new album, The Hope That Lies In You, it becomes obvious why these guys are rapidly becoming your favorite artists’ favorite worship band. Vocalist Ben Crist seems to have a knack for instantly connecting with the listener. The Hope That Lies In You delivers exactly what the title suggests; hope and empowerment through worship.” Hopecore.com

“It’s realistic. It’s honest. And it’s beautiful for its ability to not manufacture celebration for the sake of being happy but instead provoke the soul to find peace in our troubled times.” –Soul-Audio.com
