CONVERSATIONS FROM THE RED CHAIR PRESENTED BY INTEGRITY LIVE

NASHVILLE, TN…September 3, 2010…Coming off the successful release of his new worship project, BEC Recordings’ artist Jeremy Camp announces his fall headline tour: “The Worship Tour” featuring Integrity worship artists’ Carlos Whittaker and John Mark McMillan. The tour will kick off with a special Nashville-edition concert on October 8th concluding on October 31st in Salem, IL (see below for the tour schedule).

“I am so excited about this new season the Lord has me in right now,” shares Jeremy Camp. “Putting this album out last week and then taking it out on the road with Carlos and John Mark is something I am looking forward to in a huge way! The unity of all of our hearts for worship will make for an amazing evening of praise to our Lord and Saviour”

The Worship Tour is also featuring local church leaders exclusive Q&A sessions. These sessions, “Conversations from the Red Chair” presented by Integrity Live, will be an open conversation with Jeremy Camp, Carlos Whittaker, and John Mark McMillan to encourage and fellowship with local church leaders before the show. For the registered price of $25 (limited number of tickets at each date), each church leader will receive entrance to the Conversations Pre-Show, one premium-seat ticket to the concert and a church leader gift bag including song sheets and chord charts. Registration and dates are available now at this site: http://jeremycamp.com/conversations/

The kick-off event is taking place in Jeremy’s home base in Nashville, TN on October 8th at Allen Arena at Lipscomb University. This concert is a free event for the area and specially titled “Jeremy Camp’s Come Celebrate Nashville.” This will be an evening of music from Camp and special guests as well as community outreach that he hopes becomes an annual event. Honoring Nashville, the show will be benefiting two local organizations: Second Harvest Food Bank and Warm Coats from Warm Hearts. Concert attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods and/or winter coats.

JEREMY CAMP GRAMMY and two-time American Music Award nominated artist Jeremy Camp marks his inspirational return to worship with the release of his sixth studio project on BEC Recordings, “We Cry Out: The Worship Project.” Over his stellar 8 year career, Camp has established himself with these landmark accolades: Four RIAA Gold-selling studio albums including his debut album; One RIAA Multi-Platinum long-form video; 19 No. 1 Radio Hits across all formats; GRAMMY nominated project for his last studio album “Speaking Louder Than Before”; Billboard’s No. 3 Christian Artist of the Decade including five songs in the Top 50 Billboard Christian Songs of the Decade; Three ASCAP Songwriter of the Year awards; ASCAP Song of the Year award; Five Dove awards including two-time Male Vocalist of the Year. Jeremy is a Compassion International artist. Additional information available at http://www.jeremycamp.com or at Twitter http://www.twitter.com/jeremycamp.

CARLOS WHITTAKER Integrity Music recording artist Carlos Whittaker is a worship leader, speaker, pastor and creative coach. He also serves as an advisor for major conferences including Catalyst and Saddleback. He is perhaps best-known for his RagamuffinSoul.com blog, which is followed by more than 20,000 and was ranked “Best Ministry/Theology Blog” by Collide magazine readers. Whittaker recently released Ragamuffin Soul, his debut CD and a worship “soundtrack” for the Ragamuffin community. Additional information available at http://www.ragamuffinsoul.com/.

JOHN MARK MCMILLAN Critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter John Mark McMillan is known for his unconventional approach to worship music. Writer of the popular anthem “How He Loves,” McMillan’s lyrical imagery is set against what critics have called “spiritually-minded indie rock.” Before signing with Integrity Music, the North Carolina native had already built a faithful following. Now with the major label release of his much-lauded CD The Medicine, that fan base continues to grow among Christian, worship and indie/alt rock fans.
“Get Shaken”: Using video launch and social media,
Hawk Nelson and its fans to feed 1,000 kids through Samaritan’s Purse

SEATTLE, Wash., Aug. 19, 2010 – Hawk Nelson has launched its newest music video, “Shaken,” produced by Ransom.tv, an online ministry of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA).

For one week, “Shaken” will premiere exclusively to Hawk Nelson fans before going public. The video will be available on Hawk Nelson’s Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/hawknelson) – only fans who “like” the page will be able to unlock the video. Fans will also have the opportunity to join the band and Samaritan’s Purse in helping to feed 1,000 kids through its “Get Shaken” campaign.

“We love partnering with organizations and individuals that share our heart to impact the lives of others to Live Life Loud,” share the members from Hawk Nelson. “Working with Ransom.tv and the folks at Samaritan’s Purse is an absolute honor. ‘Shaken’ is a personal song – we had a blast making this video with Ransom.tv and love the end result.”

In 2008, Hawk Nelson went to Haiti to visit the Hands & Feet Orphanage, where the band was moved by the people they met, especially children. “Shaken” was written following this visit, and the band says the song has even greater meaning after the country’s devastating 7.0-magnitude earthquake earlier this year. Frontman Jason Dunn was able to visit Haiti in February with international relief organization Samaritan’s Purse, where he says he saw how Haiti had been truly “shaken.”

Open my eyes and help me see there’s a world outside of me.
I’ve been shaken from my head, on down to my toes.
Lord use me, take me where you want me to go.
(Lyrics from “Shaken”)

Along with the subject matter of “Shaken,” Hawk Nelson has devoted this year to the motto from its most recent album, “Live Life Loud.” Providing various avenues to get involved, the band is now working with Samaritan’s Purse to feed 1,000 kids with the “Get Shaken” campaign. Anyone wanting to make a difference in a child’s life can join the cause page on Facebook.

A “Ransom Note,” or video testimony, from Hawk Nelson also debuted this week on Ransom.tv. Through this platform, band members had the opportunity to share their faith in Christ. To view the “Ransom Note,” an interview about the meaning behind “Shaken,” behind-the-scenes footage and photos, visit www.Ransom.tv and www.facebook.com/WeAreRansom.

Fans can also watch Hawk Nelson perform live this Saturday, Aug. 21, at BGEA’s Rock The River Tour in Calgary, Alberta, as well as on Saturday, Aug. 28 in Edmonton, Alberta. Those not able to attend in person can see the performance streaming live on www.Ransom.tv.

JAKE SMITH GIVES FANS ANOTHER TASTE OF HIS SEPT. 14TH RELEASE WITH FREE DOWNLOAD
CD RELEASE SHOW SET FOR SEPTEMBER 10TH IN NEW ORLEANS

NASHVILLE, TN…August 12, 2010….Nearing one month until the release of his independent release “Everyone Comes From Somewhere,” NOLA native Jake Smith is whetting the appetite for new music by giving away another song from his upcoming album. Fans can get “You Had Me” from the September 14th release at NoiseTrade.com ( http://www.noisetrade.com/jakesmithmusic).

“There have been points in my past that I have compromised who I am for who someone wants me to be,” shares Jake of free track. “‘You Had Me’ is a song about the failures of the past leading to the realization that those moments weren’t really me – that those relationships whether personally or in business didn’t last because they were trying to make me something that I’m not. While those people have long gone, I am continuing to build my career and relationships on things that last.”

Understanding the state of music industry today, Smith recognizes sharing music as an avenue to interact with fans as well as gain new listeners by word of mouth via Facebook and Twitter.

“Social media shortens the void between a musician on stage and the fans in the crowd. I enjoy meeting the people who enjoy my music, and engaging with them outside of a concert setting. More than just a quick encounter, I genuinely enjoy the freedom of being independent. Especially when it comes to building relationships with my fan base.”

Jake Smith will also be performing in Baton Rouge opening for G Love next Thursday, August 19th. In addition, Smith will be hosting a CD Release party on September 10th in his hometown of New Orleans (details below). For interaction with Jake Smith, check out his website, befriend him on Facebook and follow him on Twitter.

About Jake Smith:
Discovering who he is, New Orleans native and independent artist Jake Smith is ready to share his heart and soul on his upcoming September 14th release Everyone Comes from Somewhere. Being influenced by the rich musical heritage of New Orleans, Jake Smith delivers a polished pop album that is not to be missed with its movement and groove

This 26-year-old has claimed his independence with vigor, selling out local shows at the House of Blues, playing shows with Grammy-award winning artists and landing a main stage gig at his hometown’s annual JazzFest just before Better Than Ezra and Dave Matthews Band.

Already this year, Smith has garnered a song placement (“Once Love”) on NBC’s new hit show “Parenthood,” as well as graced the cover of Lagniappe edition of the New Orleans Times-Picayune. It is clear that with these achievements, Jake Smith is figuring out where he is coming from and ready to tell his story.

Upcoming shows:
Thursday, August 19th (doors at 8 pm, show at 9 pm)
Opening for G Love
Varsity Theatre

About Tooth & Nail Records:
What began in a bedroom over a decade ago has grown organically to become the enthusiastic support system behind many of the most important rock bands operating, including Underoath, Emery, Hawk Nelson, Thousand Foot Krutch and The Almost. With headquarters in Seattle and offices in Nashville, Tennessee and elsewhere, Tooth & Nail Records is also the parent company to Solid State Records (Demon Hunter, Haste The Day) and BEC Recordings (Jeremy Camp, Kutless). Label founder Brandon Ebel became immersed in the network of musicians, clubs, fanzines and promoters who were making waves with bands whose positive messages (whether translated through melodic punk or heavy rock) and creative, inspired music. Driven to this unique perspective, the music press has caught on and embraced many T&N bands the kids already knew. With new signings like The Letter Black, Sent By Ravens and Write This Down injecting fresh life into the company, Tooth & Nail continues to be a vital, dominant presence in the contemporary music scene.
Seattle, WA…July 30, 2010…Tooth & Nail Records proudly announces the signing of creative rock/pop talent, Icon For Hire. Female fronted and hailing from Decatur, IL, Icon For Hire is comprised of Ariel (vocals) Shawn Jump (guitar) and Adam Kronshagen (drums). Since 2007, the band has been establishing their strong following by touring extensively across the Mid-West. From the beginning, the band has written music with a positive view without downplaying the hardships in life, which is a vision the label understands and supports.

“We are thrilled to be joining such an established and well-respected group at Tooth & Nail,” shares the band upon their signing. “It’s a label that has a history of consistently putting out good music and really working side by side with their artists. Because we’ve been doing this thing on our own for over two years, it feels great to partner with Tooth & Nail. We can’t wait to record our debut full-length and see where this road takes us.”

Icon For Hire will be hitting the studios with famed producer Aaron Sprinkle (Anberlin, The Almost, Acceptance) this fall. Writing for the last several months, the band is anxious to get into the studio to formulate their sound of combining heavy, rock-oriented sounds and modern pop elements with a strong focus on the production.

“We feel like it’s a common misconception among new bands that once a band gets signed, the hard work is over. We’re approaching this completely different, we realize that now’s when the real work begins and we’re up for the challenge. We’re three very driven people, and we’re not gonna stop until we fulfill our goals.”
