SEATTLE, WA…March 8, 2010…Thousand Foot Krutch continues to garner success from their recent release “Welcome to the Masquerade” as the band received another No. 1 Christian Rock single with “Fire It Up.”   This marks the band’s second No. 1 rock single off of their fifth studio album following “Bring Me To Life.”  In addition, “Fire It Up” has had numerous TV, film, gaming and sport arena placements including the latest feature at the Super Bowl this year.  “Fire It Up” joins the other rock No. 1 singles for TFK: “Puppet,” “Absolute,” “Faith, Love and Happiness,” “The Art of Breaking,” “Rawkfist,” “Phenomenon,” “Falls Apart” and “Bring Me To Life.”  This single also gave TFK their fourth Top 20 hit on the Active Rock chart.  Here’s what  stations are saying about “Fire It Up”:

Thousand Foot Krutch’s “Welcome to the Masquerade” was also nominated for a JUNO Award in the “Contemporary Christian / Gospel Album of the Year.” The 39th JUNO Awards, Canada’s Music Awards, are in association with The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS).  This nomination coincides with the succes of the album as it was also honored with two Dove Award nominations for “Rock Recorded Song of the Year” (“Bring Me To Life”) and “Rock Album of the Year.”   The Juno Awards are April 19 and the Dove Awards are April 21.

Seattle, WA…February 18, 2009…Today the 41st Annual Gospel Music Awards nominees were announced at the Belmont University Curb Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee.  Among the categories announced were 17 nominations for Tooth & Nail Records / BEC Recordings / Solid State Records’ artists and projects including four “Album” of the year and three “Song” of the year nominations in the respective categories.

Also included in the nominations today were two “Male Vocalist of the Year” with Jeremy Camp and Bebo Norman as well as three “Recorded Music Packaging” nominations for the label. The nomination press conference was also hosted by a list of Dove and Grammy nominated artists including BEC Recordings’ Jeremy Camp.

SEATTLE, WA…February 16, 2010…BEC Recordings’ Kutless has impacted fans once again with another power ballad, “What Faith Can Do.”  Kutless’ hit song has struck a chord with listeners since its debut in the fall with their worship project “It Is Well.”  This week “What Faith Can Do” broke into No. 1 on AC Monitored, marking its spot at No. 1 in four Christian radio formats (CHR, AC Mon, AC Indicator, Inspo).  The hit song spent four weeks at the top on CHR (currently No. 2), and remains No. 1 on AC Indicator, AC Monitored, Inspo and the new National Christian Audience Chart (the most popular Christian song ranked by airplay audience impressions).  The single is mentioned in this week’s Billboard chart highlights.

About Kutless
Launched by original members Jon Micah Sumrall (lead vocals) and guitarist James Mead, the band formed first as a modern rock/worship band at Warner Pacific College in Portland in 2000, influenced by Christian rock predecessors such as the Supertones as well as mainstream modern rockers like Staind, Foo Fighters, and Incubus.  Kutless signed to Tooth & Nail/BEC in late 2001 and released its self-titled debut the following year, which went on to become the fastest-selling debut in the label’s history.  Hearts of the Innocent marked the recording debut of the band’s new members, drummer Jeffrey Gilbert and bass player Dave Luetkenhoelter, both formerly of alt-rock band Seven Places. SEATTLE, WA…February 16, 2010…After three records that received international acclaim including huge success in Japan, Juno nominee Manafest (aka Chris Greenwood) returns to partner with BEC Recordings for his March 30th release, “The Chase.”  This fourth studio project is Manafest’s most aggressive and sonically evolved record to date.

“I’m really stoked to have this record teamed up with BEC Recordings again,” shares Manafest.  “This is a full on rock record with a more mature sound.  I am still on the chase and living out my dreams everyday with this new release.”
